First up on my list of things I’m currently playing.
Dungeon Defenders, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bulletstorm and The Binding of Isaac.
Here’s my initial opinions on these 4 titles.
Dungeon Defenders.
I’ve never been one for tower defense games, but this one is ridiculously fun! 4 classes (Tank, Ranged, Caster, DPS), traps and a very unique weapon system that reminds me of Disgaea (being able to level/power up items).
Only a few hours played and I’m thoroughly enjoying this one.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I used to play other RPGs, then I took an arrow to the knee. Seriously. The Elder Scroll series has always been one of the best RPG series out there. I don’t have to touch more on this right now. Only level 20, but I kind of stopped playing due to Christmas, now I can’t remember what I was doing or where I am.. so about to start over. Which is alright, since I just finished watching Game of Thrones and need my fantasy fix.
Bulletstorm
Just started this one about an hour ago. Amazing story telling and graphics. Time will tell if this title holds up or flops.
The Binding of Isaac
Think of the original Legend of Zelda game for the NES, now add one of the most messed up stories imaginable. That’s Isaac. I’ve finished this once, but have 2 more playthroughs to get through. It just keeps getting sicker and more demented each time you play.. and it’s totally random too!
So that pretty much covers what I’m playing right now. I’ll post more on these titles as I progress a little further.
